I found the Pit Droids yesterday with the offer for the Sneak Preview Rex. I sent it out today, so we'll see if it ships in 6-8 weeks like they say.
BTW I went through my UPCs and it looks like I'll be able to get alot of these. I have enough UPCs that I can easly get 50 or more (not that I will but I'll definitly have alot to get rid of). The offer is good till the end of the year so I order as many as I can. At least I finally get rid of some of these UPCs

sent for 3 of them in the beginning of March. some of the other websites are reporting that people's checks have already been cashed. I wonder if this figure will arrive before the 7/26 lauch of the Clone Wars line.

I remember the day, during vintage times when sending in upc's really did get you something for nothing.

I agree. What happened to the days of actually getting a "free" figure with UPCs and a modest shipping charge? The $6.99 is obviously the "real cost" and the UPCs are thrown in to ensure that four other purchases are made as well.
In any case, I've sent in three orders, one a couple weeks ago and two more yesterday. I'll get the figures, but unlike the cool feeling we got as kids by getting a "free" thing for UPCs, the feeling of being raped to get these will never go away.

Nowhere on the package does it say it's free, though, just that you can get this variant early.
