Yesterday I had to fast from 6 pm the day before until after I had completed a glucouse tolerence test, which wrapped up about 11 am yesterday. As soon as I was cleared, I drove to McDonalds and had a double cheeseburger and three chocolate chip cookies and a lemonade light. Not the best chioce, but I headed off to work to grab a little OT hours while I can.

Free Carl's Jr. Famous Star w/ cheese and small fries (passed on the one-serve soad in favor of 2 free water-in-bottles) at a local city fair. Free food tastes so much better!

I pan-seared some leftover chopped chuck and mushrooms, then added salsa, onions, and Monterey Jack cheese. When it cooked through, I added scallions and cilantro and served it over rice. I hereby dub this dish... pseudo-Mexican pseudo-goulash. Not that it bears any resemblance to goulash aside from the red color, though.

We had two retirement parties at work today, so I feasted on Subway and assorted cheese, veggie and fruit trays all day.
