TheJawa is reporting a variant of R-3P0 from the droid factory 2pak. Its a red vac-metalized version, which looks really neat even if it isn't movie accurate. Just wondering if anybody heard about this or had any more info.

Actually, I think I like the vac metal better? I've already got the R-3P0 from it's first release and the color on that is more film accurate that the new one, so I might as well get the vac metal just for fun.

This figure is most likely a scrapped idea as it is a handpainted prototype. There are more pics over on sandtroopers.com along with some of the legacy wave 2 figures.
