Apparently, Columbus Day has come back as a "real" holiday. Found out in today's paper that banks are closed, and no mail (but trash schedule stays the same). I thought our school district just hid one of our furlough days as "Admissions Day/Columbus Day."

All day I kept repeating "excuse me, just one more thing..." in honor of the day. And then I found it it was Columbus day.

Stupid DST time change. I went to bed at 2am Sunday morning and realized it was now 3am. Jerks. Just leave it this way, let's have more daylight towards the end of the day from now on.
