Alright, who gave the Super Battle Droid steroids???
Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

    "We named the dog 'Chewbacca'!"
The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

That Plo Koon figure is awesome! Ashoka seems taller than she should be.

I love how some of our resident anti animated figure denizens are slowly turning from the dark side. Search your feelings, Sal, you want to collect the CW line

C-3PO is the only one who's even marginally tempting. But I have no room for a lone C-3PO, so I'll pass.
    Tommy, close your eyes.

The only figure I'm tempted on is Ahsoka, and I'll hold out hope we see her in realistic style before long. There is just no place for her as my only animated style figure.

Otherwise, I was never tempted by the animated style figures that came out with Tartakovsky's Clone Wars either. Actually, I'm kind of curious why the animated style toys that came out with that series didn't receive the same amount of outcry as these have.

But the vehicles. Oh, how I can't stand waiting for the AT-TE! Some Torrents will be nice too, but not like the walker.

Simple. We knew they would be a limited run, since there was an announced amount of cartoons. That alone told us there would be a limit to the amount of figures produced from the show.

With this open-ended format for the new cartoon show, that has changed it all. Many of us are worried that the animated line will take over, or at least take some spots that should be used for realistic style figures.

Oh and FB...glad to see you are calling the animated figs the "dark side." See, we were right about them...they are evil.

And I haven't yet succumbed to it. Just teetering on the edge.
    Move along, move along

So . . . dose this mean 3po will be out on the 26th? Because other than him and R2, I refuse to buy any of the animated style figures. I'm only getting them because they remind me of the Droids cartoon show I used to watch when I was 4 or 5 and to put on my shelf with the only two Indiana Jones figures I am ever going to buy.

Also, there were already realistic-style versions of the characters from the first animated Clone Wars line (or they came out shortly thereafter), so it was no big deal. I want realistic versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan in their armor, for example, but Hasbro said they wouldn't do those.

    Still holding strong, strong indeed.

The only figure i've been tempted to get is the R2-D2 and i looked at the Battle Droid as i hate the Realstic ones...if the CW Battle Droid oh i don't know could stand on it's own, and had some articulation i would buy them on that merrit.

Though i will get the Ashoka...but other than that the whole lines a pass.

Honestly, I don't get why someone would prefer a guy in a helmet with little or no back story over a EU character, and if this guy in a helmet does have a backstory it's EU!!!!
