    Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a question to ask about the Kenner Boy Scout figures. I have a Scout (as opposed to a Cub Scout) which has definitely orange brown hair and is dressed in Summer Uniform - shorts and a white tee shirt.

The hair is much more orange and lighter than the regular Steve Scout, yet not the yellow blonde of Craig Cub Scout.

Can anyone let me know what this figure might be? I had heard this might be Alan Scout - a figure that was issued to boys who collected stars from the extras boxes. Might this be true?

I hope you can help, many thanks

See if these links help you out.

I am glad you mentioned this. I had never really looked at this line before and I found out that I have a near complete Warning from Thunderhead Weather Station playset. Very Cool! I had always assumed it was old 12" Joe.

Thanks for the links. The first two are useful and I have emailed them and asked the question. Neither however actually mentions the figure I have. The third link on ebay is me trying to sell the figure I have. it did not reach its reserve and so did not sell.

I am still at a loss here.

I have pictures of all three hair coloured dolls - Alan Steve and Craig (the white figures as opposed to the black ones) and can happily send them to anyone interested.

Are these Star Wars figures? It doesn't seem like it; this thread might need to be moved.

[edit] Moving this to "Other" with a re-direct.

No - these are not star wars figures, they are Kenner Steve Scout figures - but I did think i had posted in the Kenner Vintage thread section? Was this the wrong place to post it?
