I think most people have been unlocking them with a GameShark. Their is no official way to unlock them known yet.

I just bought it and I love it already! I use Anakin, of course. Is it me, or does it seem harder than the first one?

It seems a little harder because it's more realisitic.

I don't know if they're true but this is what my friend said he found,
Sebulba- beat the tourny mode once to get Sebulba
Eps. I Sebulba- beat the game 2 times to get this powerful version of Sebulba
Eps. I Anakin- beat tourny 3 times to get the speedy Anakin
Darth Vader-beat tourny 4 times to get the Dark Lord of the Sith
Darth Maul- beat tourny 5 times to get the Infamous Sith Apprentice

This is how it actually works:
Anakin Ep. I- get best lap time in all tracks
Watto- get best 3 lap time in all tracks
Darth Maul- Get most KO's in all tracks
Darth Vader- beat Tournament with one of the above.
