In the picture of the prototype, it appears as though they got rid of the leg articulation. That's too bad.
Maybe they just weren't originally going to be articulated.
If not, then that's a good question for Hasbro in the Q&A.

Told you guys there was no way they'd do knees on the Battle Droid. They're very clear about this, the part is too small to get articulation in there without losing structural integrity.
Nobody else is saddened by that. We're saddened by the fact that there's another Jar Jar figure at all.![]()
