Thread: New Contest!

BSG has lost it's way (in my opinion).

It used to be interesting, a good blend of sci-fi action, exploration of the BSG universe mythos, and timeless drama about human beings being human. Lately it's just been a boring old talky.

Part of the problem is that the creators of the new series have openly admitted they're just making s**t up as they go along unlike shows like Lost and the late, great Arrested Development. Those shows were plotted out well in advance.

The last 12-13 episodes that take place on Earth better be damn exciting stuff or I am just going to give my DVD's of the first 2 seasons away.

Is anyone still here or are they just skipping ahead to read about the Power Rangers?

circa 1986-90 (est.)
Still a firefighter, Bill Mitchell (see 1985-86) rescues young Carter

Grayson (see 1980-82) from a fire, inspiring Carter to eventually become

a firefighter (see 2000). Mitchell will follow Carter's life until his

selection of Lightspeed Ranger candidates in 2000.
PRLR: "A Face from the Past"

circa 1989-90 (est.)
This period was simulated by Master Vile's Orb of Doom (see 1996).

While the Orb's reversal didn't affect history, the quests for the Zeo

Subcrystals (see below) apparently did.
MMPR: "Rangers in Reverse" / MMAR: "Alien Rangers of Aquitar" (Orb of

Doom's reversal)
MMAR: "Water You Thinking?" / PRZ: "Graduation Blues" (Bulk and Skull

don't remember Orb period)

circa 1989-90 (est.; before scattering of Zeo Subcrystals)
Tommy does not receive his arrowhead half (see right panel). The status

of his brother David's half is unknown.
MMAR: "Sowing the Seas of Evil" (Tommy's arrowhead half)
PRZ: "Found and Lost" (David's arrowhead half)

circa 1989-90 (est.; after scattering of Zeo Subcrystals)
Fulfilling an old prophecy (see 1800-1940), the Red Zeo Subcrystal

arrives in the American Southwest from 1996, later followed by Tommy

Oliver, who is in the form of a child due to an evil spell. Tommy is

given the crystal, as well as half of a mystical arrowhead (see ?,000

BCE), by a shaman known as "True of Heart," the alter ego of Sam

Trueheart (see 1978-79).
David receives the other half of the arrowhead (see 1996) from True of

Heart, somehow not recognizing the man to be his adoptive father.
MMAR: "Sowing the Seas of Evil" (Zeo Subcrystal, Tommy's arrowhead half)
PRZ: "Found and Lost" (David's arrowhead half)

circa 1989-90 (est.; before scattering of Zeo Subcrystals)
Young Tanya Sloan continues to live with Ashalla in Kenya (see 1986-87),

where an animal plague soon threatens the village. Tanya's fate is

unknown.
Meanwhile, young Aisha Campbell continues to grow up in Stone Canyon

(see 1985-86).
MMPR-2: "Forever Friends" (Aisha grows up in Stone Canyon)
MMAR: "Hogday Afternoon" (Tanya, Ashalla, plague)

circa 1989-90 (est.; after scattering of Zeo Subcrystals)
As the animal plague threatens Tanya's village (see left panel), the

Yellow Zeo Subcrystal arrives from 1996 and is found by Ashalla.

Arriving in the form of a child due to an evil spell, Aisha ultimately

decides to stay and help the animals, sending Tanya in her place.
When the Zeo Crystal of 1996 removes the spell over the future Rangers,

Aisha is also restored to her teenage form despite remaining in the past.

She ultimately saves the village with her veterinary knowledge (see

1996), changing history.
Meanwhile, the young Aisha native to this time (see 1985-86) continues

to live with her parents in Stone Canyon, later serving as Yellow Ranger

(see 1994).
MMPR-2: "Forever Friends" (Aisha grows up in Stone Canyon)
MMAR: "Hogday Afternoon" (Tanya, Ashalla, plague, time-traveling Aisha)
PRDT: "Legacy of Power" (Aisha's Yellow Ranger career not excised)
Rogue Squadron-19 Golds, Battle For Naboo-18 Platinums, Rogue Leader-15 Golds/15 Aces, Rebel Strike-19 Single Golds/19 Single Aces
James Boba Fettfield & Lord Malakite's Video Game Collection

Whatever happened to Hubba Bubba gum? I really miss their Wacky Fruit flavored gum. I don't know what a "Wacky Fruit" is (by the flavor, I suspect it's something like a peach,) but it sure was yummy.

For some reason China's military doesn't seem so threatening anymore.
