I just woke up. I went to see the St. Baldrick's party last night. People raise money then have their heads shaved for kids cancer research. It was awesome. I almost went under the clippers myself.

I made freedom toast yesterday. They have really good apple bread at Costco that I use with a little cinnamon and a touch of brown sugar in the egg wash. Yummy.

I'm very sorry to hear your news, MSP. Losing parents just plain sucks. My folks passed suddenly and unexpectedly within five months of each other when I lost them. I wish I had something brilliant or helpful to say, but I found that time is the best ally for handling the loss. In my case, I've never really gotten over it, you just learn to deal with it. I still love and miss my parents. They were some of the best people to ever walk on this planet.
