I've always wondered just how horrible it is for them. When they're close enough to see (usually they're out past the horizon) you can see them bobbing up and down even in calm seas. I've heard all of the stories of them having footprints a quarter of the way up the walls and, with how we were getting tossed around last night, I can believe it.

The only thing I hate about rough seas is that I get super sleepy. Thankfully I don't get sea sick in the least but moving rhythmically like that just makes me wanna crawl into bed.
