August-December 1993
On the moon, Earthen astronauts unwittingly open Rita Repulsa's space
dumpster (see 8,000 BCE), which has crashed there some time ago. Rita
returns to Lord Zedd's moon palace (see 8-10,000 BCE) and targets Angel
Grove. In the desert nearby, Zordon's Command Center (see 1880) is
manned by Alpha Five (also see 8,000 BCE), built some time ago by Lexian
of the planet Edenoi (see 1000-1600 CE).
Zordon and Alpha issue Power Coins (see 8,000 BCE), Morphers (devices to
morph humans into Power Rangers), and Dinozords to Angel Grove High
School freshmen Jason Lee, Zack Taylor, Billy Cranston, Trini Kwan, and
Kimberly Hart (see 1978-79), who serve as Earth's first known modern
Power Rangers (also see 1880).
At school and Ernie's Juice Bar (see 1960-69), Bulk and Skull (see
1986-87) regularly antagonize the Power teens, never suspecting their
superhero identities (see 1998).
At some point, Rita's assistant Finster begins deciphering the Scrolls
of Zordnia, which indicate the location of the ancient Shogunzords (see
1995).
Blue Ranger Billy soon invents wrist communicators which will be used
for communication and teleportation by Zordon's Ranger teams through 1998
(also see 2045-55).
Rita discovers the Power Eggs (see ?? million years BCE) in a cave, but
the Rangers return them to the sea.
The teens celebrate Black Ranger Zack's birthday, probably his
fifteenth.
When Tommy Oliver (see 1978-79) moves to Angel Grove, Rita turns him
into her evil Green Ranger using the Sword of Darkness (see 8-10,000 BCE)
and her green Power Coin (see 8,000 BCE). Meanwhile, Scorpina (see 8,000
BCE) returns from dormancy. Tommy soon joins the Rangers' side once
freed from Rita's evil spell and continues to control the Dragonzord (see
8,000 BCE).
When Rita creates replicating Super Putties, the Rangers complete their
Dinozord fleet with the addition of Titanus (see 8,000 BCE) during a
quest for new weapons.
Rita later summons Lokar (see 8,000 BCE) to trap the teens on the
extradimensional Island of Illusion. The Rangers escape the island's
destruction with an inhabitant named Quagmire.
Rita ultimately drains most of Tommy's powers using a magical Green
Candle, but he passes the remainder of his powers to Red Ranger Jason.
Jason will use the powers in two subsequent battles before their apparent
exhaustion.
As Angel Grove celebrates "Power Ranger Day," Rita moves her palace
downtown and uses Lokar (see above) to unleash Cyclopsis (see 8,000 BCE).
Alpha hacks into Rita's computers, causing her to retreat to the moon
after Cyclopsis is destroyed. Offered a chance to retire, the teens
choose to keep their powers.

"Woke up at 9.55am. Soon as I woke up, I looked at Suzanne and she looked at me. I said, 'Did I tell you about the immune system?' Suzanne starting laughing, I said, 'it's amazing.' She said, 'Not now.'"
Jeez, I'm less concerned about a contest entry than I am about saying how much Malakie is scaring me dookieless right now.
(You do realize that these long posts take more time to write and five people could swoop in while you're working on one, right?)
Tommy, close your eyes.
I had a pet lizard for a while during and after college named Morrison. He was named after the Lizard king Jim Morrison. Morrison was a fat tailed gecko and ate crickets. While I liked him just fine, he never much cared for me (except as a provider of crickets.) He did love the ladies though. He often tried to snuggle up in the cleavage of any girl who held him. I miss that lizard.

Zordon's Power Rangers continue to thwart Rita's attacks on Angel Grove
(see 1993) through the first half of 1994.
At one point, Rita abducts the Rangers' parents, steals the Dragon
Dagger (see 1993), and forces the Rangers to surrender their Power Coins.
Using energy pooled from Zordon and the Rangers, Tommy (see 1993) saves
the day as the Green Ranger and returns to the team.
During the summer, Lord Zedd returns (see 8-10,000 BCE), perhaps having
lost his distant empire, and banishes Rita in her space dumpster (see
1993). The Rangers' Dinozords are upgraded into Thunderzords.
Bulk and Skull (see 1993) begin a fruitless quest to expose the Rangers'
identities for fame and fortune. The Power teens soon begin their
sophomore year at Angel Grove High.
As Lord Zedd repeatedly targets the Green Ranger to erase Rita's
failures, Tommy is slowly deprived of power (see below).

MMPR-3: "A Different Shade of Pink part 3"
1994 (cont'd; without Tommy's warning to self) [Section A]
Tommy learns from Zordon that his temporary powers (see above) are
nearly depleted.
Probably similar to section B (center panel), Tommy loses his powers in
the Otherworld, where his communicator has been jammed.
Perhaps upset by Goldar's images (see center panel), an exhausted Tommy
somehow warns his past self (actually Tommy B, center panel) of his final
battle, telling him to remember a communicator.
This Tommy's future is unknown: he may be defeated or may contact
another past self to retrieve the aforementioned communicator.
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 1" (Tommy A's warning to Tommy B)
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 2" (inferred final battle events)
1994 (cont'd; after Tommy's warning to self, without follow-up)
[Section B]
Tommy receives a warning from an alternate future self (actually Tommy
A, left panel) telling him to remember a communicator for his final
battle.
When Zordon later tells Tommy his powers are nearly depleted, he recalls
his recent vision and steels himself for a powerless final battle.
Slowly siphoning Tommy's powers with a Green Crystal, Zedd creates the
Dark Rangers from five punks, seals off the Command Center, and jams the
communicators.
When the remainder of his powers are stolen in Zedd's Otherworld, Tommy
confidently clobbers Goldar despite efforts to break his spirit with
images from a time device.
Tommy then uses the time device to contact himself in the recent past
(actually Tommy C, right panel). Receiving a working communicator, Tommy
escapes but soon returns to shatter the Green Crystal.
Downtown, Tommy uses residual energy from the Green Crystal for a final
battle, after which the Dragonzord is retired.
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 1" (Tommy A's warning)
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 2" (Otherworld, contact with Tommy C, last
Green Ranger battle)
1994 (cont'd; after Tommy's warning to self, after follow-up)
[Section C]
Some time after receiving an initial warning (see upper portion of
section B), Tommy is carrying a spare communicator when he encounters a
second hologram from the future (see lower portion of section B), to whom
he gives the communicator.
This Tommy's events are probably similar to section B after this point
despite his encounters with two future Tommys rather than one.
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 1" (Tommy A's warning)
MMPR-2: "Green No More part 2" (contact with Tommy B)
1994 (after Tommy's warning to self, cont'd)
Zordon soon gives Tommy new White Ranger powers, along with Saba the
talking saber and the White Tigerzord. Tommy and Pink Ranger Kimberly
begin dating.
Zedd captures Stone Canyon ninja teens Rocky, Adam, and Aisha (see 1993).
They are rescued by the Rangers but discover their identities in the
process. They continue to aid the Rangers and soon transfer to Angel
Grove High through unknown circumstances.
When Jason, Trini, and Zack are chosen for the World Peace Summit in
Geneva, the Rangers use a special map and ring to retrieve the Sword of
Light from the Deserted Planet (see ?,000 BCE) and transfer powers to
Rocky, Adam, and Aisha as Jason, Trini, and Zack depart. (Note: Aside
from both trios briefly shown in Ranger suits simultaneously, all other
indications suggest the powers were transferred and not duplicated.)
Zedd completes the titanic Zord Serpentera (see 1996) but repeatedly
suffers from a power shortage.
Scorpina (see 1993) is last seen briefly serving Lord Zedd in a scheme to
deceive Black Ranger Adam.

Aisha aid Rangers)
