What Will You Watch in 2009?

There doesn't apear to be a thread for this already so I'll start one...

Which movies are you looking forward to in 2009? 2008 was one of the best movie summers of the decade IMO, but there doesn't seem to be much out this year.

    Here's my list;

    Up
    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (any news on a trailer yet?)
Watchmen - Never paid much attention to this before but will try it out
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
    Bruno
    Star Trek
    Final Destination 4

    What about you?

I will watch all of those and many many more:

Terminator: Salvation is the most eagerly awaited by me.

I will also watch anything else that looks remotely cool...including many B movie, C movies and probably D movies.

I am really looking forward to this years movie selections.

I will watch most of these on Blu-Ray.
May the force be with you.

    1. Watchmen!
    2. Transformers - More out of morbid curiosity than anything else. I'm not a huge fan of the first one, but now that he doesn't have to establish who the Transformers are anymore, I'm interested to see where Bay takes it.
    3. Star Trek - no real high hopes, just more morbid curiosity.

Nothing else is really piquing my curiosity. I'm more apprehensive about GI Joe than anything else. I'm 99% sure that it's going to be horrible, but the toys released for it so far don't look that bad, so who knows? There's a tiny chance it might actually be watchable.

I liked the first Transformers movie so I'll see the sequel. Out of all the comic book movies, I think I enjoyed the X-Men series the most, so I'll see the Wolverine one. Harry Potter too.
Oh, and GI Joe as well.

I kinda knew the new Star Trek movie was a prequel but had no idea that they were casting new actors for the original crew until I saw a clip on the local morning news show the other day. I thought it was going to feature the Enterprise TV series cast. I may see that one in theaters (a rarity for me, I usually average one theater visit a year).

I don't watch much TV. Just Family Guy and the Simpsons. Now that I've got satellite again I'll be watching Clone Wars and probably South Park if it's still on the air.

Harry Potter, Up, and Watchmen. Everything else looks like doondoon. I might see GIJoe if people don't vomit in the theaters. After the carpfest that was X3, I'll wait for HBO for Wolverine, especially since it has that d-weed Gambit in it. I hate Gambit. If I ever met Chris Claremont, I'd thank him for the years of good comics, then kick his nads for creating Gambit.
    Tommy, close your eyes.
