Question Looking for an out-of-print CE3K John Williams track...

It's from the original Arista soundtrack CD-- long out of print at this point. It's the last track "Theme from 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'", which was a pop reinterpretation of the themes from the film.

    Can anyone help?

Let me look around. Do you remember how long the track was? THere are so many versions of the score out there the more I know, the merrier.
"Woke up at 9.55am. Soon as I woke up, I looked at Suzanne and she looked at me. I said, 'Did I tell you about the immune system?' Suzanne starting laughing, I said, 'it's amazing.' She said, 'Not now.'"

It was on the original Arista release of the CD. It may have featured on the Varese Sarabande reissue as well.

Theme From "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", produced by John Williams and Rick Chertoff. 3:09.

The cover would look like the attachment:

    Thumbs up I found it!!!!

Actually, an Amazon Marketplace Seller (who was nice and gave me a response to confirm the item they were selling actually had this track on it) had this for a really reasonable price.

It's completely out-of-print!!! I cannot believe that they didn't stick it on the "definitive" version of this soundtrack that came out a few years ago!!!!

    Wanna hear it?
