I'm a local.... Great laker!
About 40 minutes south of Green Bay along (the not always) beautiful Lake Michigan.
OK... you are "local" and not "LOCAL". LOL I get it.
Well....compared to say somebody in New Zealand we're dang near next door neighbors!
And compared to say Pluto, I'm practically giving you a piggyback ride. LOL
Cleaned up some shelves, floors, countertops around the house. Went to Hallmark for their October Ornament Debut; stood in line for only about 10 minutes and talked with fellow "addicts" (her word, not mine)... just bought the Darth Vader Lego one. Dropped off $10 more in recycling, did some banking and shopping, including some "great deals" (read: so-so sales) at a closing OSH store. Watched football and graded some, even did a little writing. Apparently fell asleep on the couch while some game was on, only to wake up an hour later. Had breakfast items for lunch and dinner and breakfast (weird).
"May the 4th be with you?" "Why yes, thank you for asking."
In the morning I went to get gas and go for a run, but on the way there I saw a bus from another university that reminded me that Western Washington U. was hosting a cross country meet today, so I went there and watched that and got my run in there.
When I got home, I noticed the neighbor mowing the lawn, and figured I probably should as well while I had the chance as it would probably be raining today. It had been a long time since I mowed it as it had gotten kind of burnt out in the summer. After that, I had time for a quick lunch and a shower before heading off to meet a friend and her family to see a local production of Into the Woods. After that, we went to dinner and walked around the mall for a bit.
