Has anyone noticed on the toy fair pictures of Chancellor Palpatine that he seems to have massive fingures, is this the actual figure or is it just the way it looks from the position of the camera?

I think partly the angle, but...
They COULD be compensating for the fact that his hands are far too tiny in the E1 version of his figure! Look at his little pointing finger hand! Silly!!!

So, what do they say about big fingers?
Yeah Palpy did have a problem with his pinkies in the episode one incarnation hasbro gave us. weird little hands. And now there's this one with snow plough hands. What gives? i think palpy looks a little short as well. Either Ian McDiarmid has short legs or the figures arms are too long. And it's not just the piccies making it look weird. I've looked at so many different shots of this figure now that it is definately too big hands and not warped camera angle. it's still a great looking figure though, one of the top five on my want list. Just really big hands.........

They don't look all that big to me. Spread your fingers apart and compare them to the size of your head and thats about right if you kept your fingers apart like that. Your middle finger is about the same length as the distance from your chin to your nose, so judging by the Palpatine figure it's fine.

I wonder how accurate he is from the foul line?
Whenever Shaq was slammed for his poor FT %, they always cited his large hands as the reason.
