Curt Gowdy was just ripping it up and going strong up on CMT 20 minutes ago for a Mariners vs. Angels game (umpired by Frank Drebin).

Curt Gowdy is dead, but the Mariners' announcer, Dave Niehaus, has been calling their games since they came into the league in 1977. He had been a broadcaster for the Angels prior to that.

Frank Frazetta, artist extraordinaire, has passed. Lena Horne is also gone.
