"May the 4th be with you?" "Why yes, thank you for asking."
I think he was featured on some evening national news (ABC, NBC, CBS, etc.) show once, not just local news here in SoCal.

That was a truly nice man. Strangely, he died so close to the season he was such a part of.
Harry Morgan (of M*A*S*H fame), 96-years.
Dobie Gray (of "Drift Away" fame), 71-years.
Rest in Peace Joe Simon. The King has more company in Heaven now...
If I simply type in Kim Jong Il dying at 69, that doesn't make this political, right? Or, former Czech president Vaclav Havel at 75?
"May the 4th be with you?" "Why yes, thank you for asking."
I've got to wonder when he really died, if North Korea media reported it yesterday.
Tommy, close your eyes.
Supposedly, He has been dead since the 17th. According to North Korean media, it was a heart attack on a train while traveling to, I think, Pyonyang (I know that's not the right spelling . . .). But really, I do not recall seeing him in the news for a while, and recently I belive the north koreans once again threatened to turn the waters around them into a sea of fire several days before that. So it may very easily have been several days before that, or longer.
