    Post Happy (posthumous) birthdays!

Those "on this day" places are good sources for little-known and quite famous information. Apparently, 100 years ago, noted Japanese film director and SW influence Akira Kirosawa was born.

Who else? Provided that the date matches the current date, meaning there may have to be waiting and patience.

Today would have been my step moms birthday. I don't know how old she would have been, I knew she was a few years younger then my dad, but it's never polite to ask a woman her age. She passed away about a year and six months ago.
