I have heard that she was rather upset by Filoni's crew and the treatment of her EU work, so I am wondering if anyone knows what is going on, and more importantly, if she is going to continue her work on the 501st series?

It was several months ago, but she announced that she wouldn't be working on Star Wars projects anymore. I think she got beat up about the Mandalorian plotline from the series, but they're also using Delta Squad in the upcoming season (though she didn't create them). I don't think she liked the idea of George changing details, despite him being the creator of the overall franchise.

Maybe that's what chased KJA away from SW; much of the plots he devised have become paper liner for a birdcage.
She has her moments, but much of the Mando stuff is a bit too dense for me and tough to follow.
George: "Mine! Mine!"
Author: "Uh, okay. Fine have it your way."
George: "I started it! I'm telling! Whaaaah...!"
Author: [holds up 'whatever' sign and leaves]
George: "Mine!""May the 4th be with you?" "Why yes, thank you for asking."

while it means the end of her writing commando novels, it also saves us from her writing the planned boba fett novel.
