More is more. Less is less, Twice as much is good too,
Too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

The Lukes, Leias, Vaders are definitely selling best near me. It's interesting how those main characters still move. (But why not Lando? There HAS to be a way to make Lando figures sell better! My nephew thinks he's awesome, maybe they just have never made a really good one. Could a definitive General Lando with a cool card picture break the curse?)
Around here Vintage is still somewhat scarce. Only saw Dack a couple times but passed on him. I'm kind of sick of pilot figures for the time being although I got the Cloud Car pilot. 4-LOM seems to be the stinker around here, and Vader is piling up as well but I'm never worried about Vader selling through. Luke, Leia, Dack, the Cloud Car pilot, and to a lesser extent Dengar seem to be the best sellers in my area so far.
At the moment Legends seems to be the hottest seller in my area. IG-88, Grievous, Maul and suprisingly Greedo seem to be mega popular. Zuckuss, Leia (Boussh), Threepio and Hoth Han seem to be the only warmers thus far. Bossk is actually plentiful too which is a suprise given his feature in the cartoon.
For the clone wars line we have only Aurra Sing and Kit Fisto starting to pile up as well as some of the droid repacks, everything else seems to be moving well.
Most wanted "bottom-of-the-barrel scrapes": ANH: Kal'Falnl C'ndros, Revwien (concept art), Tzizvvt ESB: Wiorkettle, Treva Horme ROTJ: Cane Adiss, Loje Nella TPM: Edcel Bar Gane AOTC: Rogwa Wodrata ROTS: Mon Calamari Dancer, Veedaaz Awmetth, Eeusu Estornii EU: Guri (red outfit), Ket Maliss
The ESB wave Vintage pegwarmers 'round here seem to be Vader, Leia, and Threepio. Only saw Fett once (snapped him up) and the CC Pilot a few times. The rest are intermittent, but plentiful.

I will have to agree with JT here. A steadiness of OT figures is needed to help the line. I don't care what Hasbro says about a more kid-targeted market makes the most $$$ blah blah. The parents get involved too when purchasing and this lady's heart is set on the OT because she is more familiar with it. I have personally stopped buying most PT figures.
One way to out think people is to make them think you think they'll think what you are not really trying to get them to think what you think.
Even aside from familiarity, the majority of people (fans and otherwise) seem to think the Original Trilogy is better than the prequels. Unless the kid is specifically asking for Jar Jar or Ki-Adi-Mundi, the average parent is going to gravitate toward Luke or Han.
finally caved in and bought Threepio last night...have to say he's a pretty impressive figure.. now I have enough proofs to mail away for 2 of the Rocket Firing Boba Fett's...
Looking for CW 2010 Sidious and TX-20...if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. thanks
