It sure does; it almost looks like a wampa. Oh, wait . . .

I dunno why, I thought it went down even more, but it's still at the price I preordered it for back on January 6th, still $89.99, the same $50 off it was before.

At this point in the home stretch, I'm actively trying to avoid seeing more of the material, I want to enjoy it the first time on my tv. They had a loop of a blu-ray trailer at a Lucasfilm event at Comic-Con, but no new material, just regular movie stuff, so I watched, it looked fine, the quality I remember the movies being.

    Grrrr....

Who's bright idea was it to release Star Wars (Blu-Ray), X-Men: First Class, and Thor all on the same day!?!?!
May the force be with you.

Hopefully we'll finally have this to look forward to in TPM.

StarWars.Com did release a clip from the Assault On The Death Star from ANH.

It appears that they fixed the sound problem that was on the last DVD release.

Hadn't planned on getting a blu-ray player, but once I knew all the deleted scenes were gonna' finally be released, I picked up one on sale this weekend. Can't wait for the set to come out now. And the inclusion of the three "making of" specials is the icing on the cake!

Just watched the trailer, and that Bunker scene looks SWEET! It was almost surreal, as I remembered as a kid wondering if there were more scenes than what we saw on screen. I saw the Anchorhead/Biggs scenes on CD-ROM years ago, but those Jedi scenes blow the ANH ones out of the water!!!

....now, if only we'd get more deleted scenes for the Prequels, like added Darth Maul footage, Yoda/Chewie/Tarfful fighting clones on Kashyykk, and the spirit of Qui-Gon, it would be even better!

YES! Hopefully the sound mix is the same on the Blu-ray. That change on the DVD really bothered me and took away some of the heroic feeling.

TheForce.net mentioned that someone got an e-mail from Lucasfilm featuring this quote:
"Industrial Light and Magic did go in and make many technical improvements, most notably color matching on select lightsabers shots."
So hopefully they got rid of Luke's curiously green saber on the Falcon in ANH, at least. I'm excited to know which further changes have been made; the two ANH ones and then CGI TPM Yoda are all I need, but we'll see.

That Ep 1 CGI Yoda clip feels like it needs a few more passes, the movement looks like a quality video game, not a theatrical movie.
