    Article: SSG's Monthly Hasbro Q&A - June 15th, 2011

Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

Kylo Ren - came from Space Brooklyn, although he moved to Space Williamsburg before it was trendy.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

Originally, I thought the first answer totally shined what we were saying, but now that I look at it, I suppose it is addressing the larger issue, which the more specific issue is encompassed by. I do miss Derryl's more complete answers that address the finer aspects though.

In some ways, the new style of answers are nice and blunt, but they're also too often vague or not answering enough of the question, as if the writer only skimmed it once. 16bit and Jedi News both got conflicting answers about Galactic Heroes, with the former saying it's completely done and the latter saying there's a possibility in the future (however slight). From other sites: Bespin Leia is coming in TVC; future Target 3-packs will have "a good amount of newness"; Kitster and Wald are sadly not coming in 2012; no more gunships until at least 2013, maybe; and Clone Wars figures coming to Vintage, though maddeningly no details whatsoever. At least they've realized that the figure build-up is a problem, even though that is inconsistent with the previous round's answer about it just being "a few more Dengars than we would all like." Clearly they haven't given any thought to Cane Adiss, which is a little disheartening.

Yeah Dengar and 4-Lom. No admission about the defective Clones, but as long as that glaring inventory issue is taken care of, even if not mentioned specifically, at least by now they are aware of the problem.

I really wish they would have answered the question about the defective helmets as well. That seriously erks me, as I would have actualy bought a few of them had they not been missing paint AND not had a strange green tint to them, along with a cheaper version being sold litteraly right next to them."A few dengars and 4 loms". Forget to mention the 50 or so clones still at wallmarts per store taking up more than half the current shelf space. As to the second question . . . Huh. Figure on a stick!

Just read in the Q&A over at Action Figure Insider another confirmation of CW characters coming to the Vintage line. Hasbro's exact words were "A handful of core Clone Wars figures are planned for the Vintage Collection line in 2012. Stay tuned for more information!"This is probably the most exciting thing for me out of all the Q&As this week. I would probably buy every single figure they make from the show in a realistic form. Despite the fact that I strongly dislike the animated line I've still found myself cherry-picking certain figures, probably 7 different figures in all. I'm hoping that we get a taste of this later this summer at Comic Con.

That's interesting. One would assume they would be realistic, and the fact that the CW series will still be going, which characters will they be doing? Surely they wouldn't want to do the same characters as will be seen in the new series no? That would interfere with the CW line.I can only hope and guess they might be characters from the Micro Series. This they had done in the past and we got some cool characters from that whole wave, though some were pegwarmers.I remember them saying in a Q&A about one of their favorite wants in the Hasbro parking lot was a Nelvaan Warrior. There's a few well known characters to flesh out like the Arc Pilot. Really the whole Muunilinst blue Arc Troopers could be redone to corrected blue color like the Heavy Gunner we got in the aforementioned realistic CW wave. These have been on my want list (as many know here boy howdy) for forever. Anything more in realistic style from the Micro Series would be welcome.

I have to assume we'll at least get Rex and Ahsoka (though whether it'll be her first outfit or her new one is anyone's guess). I wouldn't be surprised to see Anakin and Obi-Wan in their original outfits as well, with the shoulder armor. At this point, I really enjoy the CW line as its own separate thing and don't really need too many in the realistic style, so I'm glad to hear it's just "a handful of core" characters.
