Unhappy STAR WARS Scene-It in limbo. My heart sinks hard and fast.

It seems as though the company that makes the Scene-It games is shutting its doors. Basically, what this means is that any of the games they announced at Toy Fair, including the Star Wars game is unlikely to come out unless another manufacturer picks up the baton (ahem... Parker Brothers? Hasbro?).

You ever played a Scene It game?

I'm guessing no; you wouldn't be particularly depressed about it. They look like cool interactive trivia games, but are mostly visual puzzles that are too easy, and a flaw in the rules means someone can win on (literally) the first turn.
    That's my jacket!

Actually, we have three of them and we (as in "we and our friends") really enjoy them... especially when there's been a couple of hours of wine under our belts.

How are you playing that game? We've never experienced the threat of someone winning on the first, much less the tenth turn.
