That got me... right here *thump thump*. That is a Star Wars fan's commercial for sure, we've all lived those types of moments.

There was a different ad on TV last night for this that started with the Outrider, I was totally jazzed to see it.

Now if only I could bring myself to buy a Kinect... or an xbox.

That is indeed an awesome promo, and the game looks pretty sweet.

Unfortunately, based on my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience, I've never known a technology that was less ready for primetime than the Kinect. I have yet to encounter a single game that actually registers movement the way the Kinect is theoretically supposed to do, and there's no way I'd spend money on it. I wouldn't even fish an unopened Kinect out of the garbage.

There's a 1.5 OS update coming out very soon for the Kinect that will increase the number of tracking points and allow play while sitting down, so perhaps it's worth checking out agian.

Reviews are out on this game, and they are BRUTAL.

There's a dance game built in though, SWized pop music dancing as the main characters.
