Now I want the K-Mart exclusive set (I got TRU's). Anyone seen that out yet?

I need to order Lumat, too.

Wow: 8 Ewoks in one year!

And you can "make" more by switching the extra hoods and hats around from the TRU piece.
BAD Pts Need: R5-C7 lf leg (x2), , R4-P44 right leg BAD Pts Offered For Trade: PM me - I have lots of parts now including BG-J38!. New Kyle Katarn is also available.

I bought the walker but they didn't have either of the 2-packs at the time. I'm a little confused on that point though. The slides at CVI said "out now" but the cards in the display cases said October. Since the Walker is actually out now I assumed the figures were supposed to hit at the same time, but maybe there is an intentional delay?
Have: CW Yularen, CW Clone, everything from CW Slave I set except Slave I, TFU Shadow Stormtrooper x2, Evo Trooper, Saga AT-AT Driver, K-Mart Jodo Kast || Want: Vintage Fordo
Thanks to TheDarthVader, Phantom-like Menace, TheRealDubya, Jediguy, Dark Marble, Umbra, Qui-Long Gone, CrunchyNug, GH_fan and jedikiss.

Kind of the reverse for the TRU packs. The slides said Pilots on shelf August, and Ewoks on shelf October. I've just received both from TRU.com this week.

My Toyrs R Us had probably 4 of each, pilots and Ewoks.

I just gave the pilots a glance, as I'm not really interested in pre-Rogue Squadron pilots as much.

If they were as good as Rogue Squadron, they wouldn't have died over Yavin.

The Rogues saved the Alliance at Hoth, escorted the Millennium Falcon off Imperial occupied Coruscant, out of Gall, and as combined teams to help lesser-experienced pilots, won the Battle of Endor.

Then The Rogues won over the S-Ssruuvi, escaped the Chiss, defeated Admiral Daala, beat the Yuuzhan Vong - OK - you get the point.

Try to touch that Red and Gold Groups! (Though yeah, the legendary Commander Wedge Antilles and General Luke Skywalker were once part of Red Group. But you have to start somewhere.

Had a BOGO 75% off coupon through the TRU rewards program and used it to pick up both sets today (only good on 09/06 so you'd better hurry. Yakface has a link to it BTW.) $50 is a lot better than $80 so the ones I got online are going back.

There's another thread about these sets somewhere, but oh well. I got these sets this past weekend, and they're awesome!

The Ewok pack is one of my favorite items they've done recently. Flitchee, Nanta, Teebo, and Tippet are all complete repaints, and Kneesaa looks like Wicket's body but a bit fatter, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Anyway, since they all have new hoods and are completely different colors, they all look unique, so I don't feel that repainting them was a cop-out. Teebo was supposed to have a different head, as seen on the back of the box, but Lucasfilm made them go with a less aggressive one so they just repainted Logray. I've wanted Kneesaa for a really long time - my sisters had a book featuring her, and I remember it from well before I even saw any of the films, so it's a fun connection for me there. Flitchee (the blaster-toting Ewok) and Nanta (aka Corpsey) are two I didn't really expect to see, so getting them is awesome as well.

The Yavin Pilot pack is good as well, but not as mind-blowingly cool as the Ewoks. R5-D8 is so similar to R5-D4 that I probably wouldn't be able to tell which was which at first glance. The only difference designating Mauler Mithel from a generic TIE Pilot is that the Imperial logo on the right side of his helmet has a wedge cut out of it; I honestly didn't know that Vader's wingmen had unique helmets until their figures were announced, but it's cool to have them (he doesn't have the little gray numbers on his forehead - some previous TIE Pilots have tried to recreate this with small dots, but there are none to be found here). Tiree and Davish "Pops" Krail are the two other in-cockpit Y-wing pilots aside from Jon "Dutch" Vander, who was made waaaaay back in 2004. The back of the box shows that Pops was originally going to have an undone chinstrap, using the same mold as Porkins' helmet; this would have been accurate to his appearance in the film, but the figure just uses the regular helmet mold instead. So now there are only two in-cockpit Yavin pilots left to be made (aside from the upcoming Backstabber) - Theron Nett (Red 10) and Puck Naeco (Red 12, who appears only briefly when John D. Branon gets shot; Naeco blows up instead due to editing). Even though we've gotten so many pilots, and the non-Porkins ones both use the Luke body, I think it's a worthwhile purchase.
