Droid Factory at Once Upon a Toy & Disneyland

You can view the page at http://www.sirstevesguide.com/conten...nce-Upon-a-Toy

Disney's Droid Factory, using the parts from Hasbro's Build A Droid astromechs, plus some new ones, has now landed at the Disney World Once Upon a Toy shop outside the park.

The Droid Factory experience has also expanded into the Star Trader at the original Disneyland in California.

Nice! The parts should be much easier to obtain this way (still not easy, but easier). I'm only missing a few pieces so now it should take less convincing to get someone to pick them up for me.

Now they need to get one here in the California park.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

They've never had any of the BAD stuff here, have they?

Build a droid in Florida was a lot of fun. Disney got so much of my money that way during my visit there last year. I'm honestly surprised they havn't done it in california yet, as it was making money hand over fist while I was there.

Not yet, no. I keep checking, hoping. They don't even really have space in the existing Star Trader unless they take out the lightsaber station which would be foolish since it's still making sales.

Hey, what do you know! It's at Disneyland now after all! Guess who's going to be asking for some favors?

Pretty wild, I'll let you know in a week or so what I see. I bet you that the Fire Marshal makes them move it though, that's a surefire bottleneck location since it's the only exit path in that area. I predict a lot of stolen body parts.

And it's all because I pointed out they haven't done it in Cali before.

You can thank me later, guys.

Dropped in tonight for the Iron Man event, that wasn't much of a thing but they did have the droid factory, although it was in the larger star trader outside the exit store, not quite where I thought but a better choice. With my annual pass discount it came to 18 after tax for a two pack. They have roped off the whole thing so that kids don't just tear it apart. Color choices need more investigation.
