Is it possible that episode VII is really.........

Is it possible that episode VII is really going to be the first in a series of remakes of the prequel trilogy? Is that at all possible? I may be way off base here, but 2015 is the 10th anniversary of revenge of the sith. And I didn't like hayden as vader/anakin and I never will like him.
One way to out think people is to make them think you think they'll think what you are not really trying to get them to think what you think.

No, it is not possible! Not in any way, shape, or form.

But you are welcome to ignore the PT if you like.
May the force be with you.

If they're going to remake Episode I, they're not going to call it Episode VII.

Unless the story involves Luke traveling into the past along with the new bad guy resulting in a new alternate timeline of Episode I. But thats crazy talk. What are the chances of that happening with J.J. Abrams behind the helm?

My theory is that Disney will work hard to sideline the Prequels as the years go on. Not that they are going to directly try to rewrite them, but I believe they will be writing the Sequel Trilogy as if the Prequels had never happened. In other words, we will see little to no reference at all to the events in the Prequels and I'm totally fine with that. I think the people working on the film right now know that the Original Trilogy is the fundamental core of Star Wars and those three movies are the reason that Star Wars is still popular today. The Prequels have only remained popular by feeding off of the OT's popularity.

The nice thing about George Lucas being out of the picture is that we're not going to have a stubborn filmmaker trying to cram the PT down people's throats in some vain attempt to force fans to accept them as equal to the OT (something that will NEVER happen).

I heard a terrible rumor about E 7, involving Charlotte showing up. Don't know who Charlotte is? Well then dig up some PT threads and figure it out.

I heard that there's a gap in the space/time continuum, and Spock and Kirk come back to stop a galactic menace. Or maybe that there's a problem with Marty's kids.

Yeah; you don't get to put "Episode VII" on any re-con stuff, no matter how many billions you paid, Disney. That's gonna have to be Star Wars: We Inserted a Subtitle or something if they go that route.
I predict that the upcoming Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi film will include the word "and." Multiple times.

OK, guys there are 4 stand alone films that are NOT Episodes 7,8,9.

That means returning for movies that are NOT 7,8,9 can be....

    Ian McDiarmid
Hayden Christiansen (as Vader most likely)
Ewan McGreggor (though as a ghost, he could also be in 7,8,9 and I wouldn't mind)
    Natalie Portman
    Temura Morrison
    General Grievous
Christopher Lee (though I'm not sure if he's still doing movies)
    Daniel Logan
    Peter Meyhew*
    Samuel Jackson

*there is a strong voice in fandom who do not like Chewbacca being killed in NJO. Well, he might be EVEN IF YOU HEAR Peter Meyhew is returning as Chewie. It might not be for Ep 7.

There are at least 4 stand-alone movies...

    Most likely...

Han Solo (new actor playing young Han) with Peter Meyhew still as Chewie
Boba Fett could be in this with Danny Logan
    a Young Lando might appear
    a Young Leia might appear
Jimmy Smits might return as Bail Organa
Ian McDiarmid and Hayden Christiansen could be in this movie.

There could be a live-action Clone Wars episode movie with Ewan McGreggor, Sam Jackson, Ian McDiarmid, Temura Morrison, Christopher Lee, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, Danny Logan

JarJar Binks could return in a stand alone movie (not as the main character and I am being serious).

    Ep. 7 will have:

    Harrison Ford
    Mark Hamill
    Billy Dee Williams (?)
    Carrie Fisher
    Jaina Solo
    Jacen Solo (?)
    Mara Jade (?)
    Anakin Solo (?)
    Ben Skywalker
    Allanah Solo (?)
    Tenel Ka
    Jag Fel

maybe Sam Jackson, the ghost of Ewan McGreggor, maybe Temura Morrison as old Boba Fett. Who knows? Natalie Portman could do a cameo as a hologram so Luke and Leia can see their mother and a message she left for them.

    Other characters could include

    Old Ahsoka
    Old Ventress
Yuuzhan Vong (that would be so cool!)
    Kyp Durron
    Corran Horn
    Kyle Katarn
    Cad Bane
    Hondo Ohnaka

So while Samuel Jackson is one of the first people I'd predict would shout like a fan-boy "I'm in a new Star Wars movie!" it could be a live action Clone Wars episode about Yoda or something, and be set any time in the chronology (with or without his hand) and have NOTHING to do with Ep 7,8,9.

Same goes for casting news of "The Emperor Palpatine will return." Might have NOTHING to do with the post-quells, but sure enough he will play Palpatine in the Dark Times or Clone Wars movie.

I'll give Ewan McGreggor this - he's a great Obi-Wan and he's welcome to appear in any and all new movies, but they'll need to make him look old if he plays the spirit Obi-Wan.
BAD Pts Need: R5-C7 lf leg (x2), , R4-P44 right leg BAD Pts Offered For Trade: PM me - I have lots of parts now including BG-J38!. New Kyle Katarn is also available.
