No, but the shop owner knew me by name and where I lived and I think he would've caught on that I was the only one in the shop when it disappeared.

When did prices got like this? After the line got canceled there was nowhere to found the figures, thus they made them more desirable, it was until yrs. later that SW figures were seen in hobby stores, every time they got more expensive. Until 1997 that SW conventions started to get an impulse and prices went to the roof.
