Stillakid, I don't blame you. Maybe if those lousy Jedi Points were worth something, more people would have noticed the instructions while cutting the UPC out of the card back!

I bought two naboo fighters to escort my royal starship across my ceiling and therefore was forced to buy two Anakins for the controls. I love the idea but - shouldn't it have come with the ship in the first place? Gomnna burn the damn Anakins though. Little sacrificial pyres in the yard...... MWAHAHAHAHA!
The battle damaged destroyer is poo. just got one recently and it's made from even cheaper looking materials than the ordinary version. The exploding feature was well worth the pots of money I paid for it.............................................!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Naboo Fighter has stickers in the cockpit of the very controls you add on anyway, so not having them isn't a big loss if you don't mind that they're just images.

As for the Battle Damaged Destroyer Droid, its design is higher-quality than the original, except in the knee and spine which are not articulated. However, the "face" and paints are big improvements from the original IMO, and the plastic isn't different from the first release.
Darth Vader is becoming the Mickey Mouse of Star Wars.

The use of a lightsaber does not make one a Jedi, it is the ability to not use it.

Quite honestly, I haven't paid attention to the back of Star Wars cards since the Eighties. Ever since they stopped listing the full product line back there I figured there wasn't any point. Besides, how was I supposed to anticipate such fore thought from Hasbro? Can you blame me?
Well said Stillakid, there seemed to be no reason to look at the back of the cards, i didnt know of the controls of Anakin pilot until reading this thread.
    As always...........L

"Why do I suspect we've picked up another pathetic lifeform?"

"It's the boy responsible for getting us these parts"

I think that's how the lines go.

I re-checked my battle damaged destroyer and played with it and then played with my original one and examined it and quite frankly I stand by my earlier assertion that the quality is inferior on the battle damaged version. The plastic is of inferior standard and softer. It has a more transluscent quality I dislike. It seems to be a less robust toy because of this. The paint deco is much lighter and seems to consist of just one colour - blue, sprayed over the weird greeny tan plastic. The original destroyer was sprayed with two colours of gold and blue and looks more like it's film prop counterpart. IMO But then, that's why I only have the one battle damaged destroyer to the six original ones. Anyway JT, 'tis but a quibble when I am quite happy with the figures in general. They are by far the most innovative of the EP1 figures and I for one never imagined when i saw the movie that we would ever get a figure of them at all so, there you go - and where are you?
