Newberry Comics Prices

I found the Besbin Vader, Luke & the new Jango Fett @ 2 Newberry Comic stores (downtown Boston, MA & Prov Place Mall, RI). Now get this, the price for each figure: $12.99. The 12" Obi-wan, Anakin, Clone Trooper $32.99. I didn't bother asking anyone why these figs r soooo expensive. Besides they have a big ol price sticker that's impossible to peel off w/o damaging the card.

Hey I used to live on Boylston Street in Boston, Newbury was one block over. The reason behind the huge price increases, this is coming from a friend who used to work at the store in 1999, a collector was selling certain prices to Newbury and so in order to make their money off the price of the figure the price had to be raised. Plus it was to compete with FAO since there was really no toy store around unless you went to the Cambridge Mall.
