After Luke's defeat, and failed suicide attempt on Bespin something plummets beneath him as he gets caught on the weathervane. I alaways assumed it was his hand and/or saber, but I was looking the other day and it really is hard to tell.

what are the odds that his hand and/or saber would fall through the same vent chute, and out the same garbage hatch as him?

remember, there were hundreds of those vents.....his hand fell straight down, he fell diagonally......

I thought it was his gun for a while.....or maybe something he had on him, but now I'm told it was part of the weathervane he landed on.....
