What is the stick on the end of Obi-Wan Coruscant's droid?

There's this stick that plugs into the back of the assassin droid that comes with Obi-Wan Coruscant. It doesn't appear to be in the film, and the centipedes were loaded in a thicker canister in the front, so I don't think this is meant to be that. So, anybody know?

It's just a little stick so you can fly Obi-Wan around, as he holds onto the Assassin Droid. Just Hasbro making it easier to reinact the movie.

I thought it was Obi-Wan's Jedi spatula. Always ready for chow.

Hmm, I dunno about this one, I tried holding it like a flying stick, and all that happened was the droid rotated to one side, the stick flexed, and Obi-Wan fell off (and this figure rarely falls off this thing on mine). Were you guessing on that answer JJB, or is this just ineffective?

The stick on my Obi-Wan droid holds up both the droid and Obi-Wan just fine. I assumed it was a handle of sorts.

My droid has no issues with the "stick". Actually... mine is hanging from the bottom of an Ultrarama level with Obi-Wan hanging onto it... quite cool.

I thought it was a giant wooden spoon so Obi can put Anakin over his knee whenever he gets out of line

Actually JT they are correct. It is used to hold the driod up so you can "fly" Obi-Wan arounf the room "10,000" stories up!! I think yours is ineffective. But mine works great!
