Lego X-wing 7140 - Can anyone help me out?

    Hey guys.

I am looking for the Lego X-wing 7140 set. Apparently this set has been discontinued. Am I the only one who didn't know that? Anyway, I called Lego Shop at Home to order it and the operator told me it was discontinued along with the rest of the ealy line (7150, 7110 etc.). So I've gone all over the place to try and find one with no luck. On ebay they sell for about $70.00 a piece which I am not about to go along with - not yet anyway.

So I was wondering if anyone out there in the USA or internationally would be willing to help me out if they can get one, or maybe someone has a duplicate set in their collection they don't need. I'm looking for one set at or around original cost. If anyone can help out in anyway, please let me know! I have performed plenty of online transactions and have a positive ebay rating as well. Thanks everyone!

PS - It's been a long time since I've posted here at SSG (Formerly under Weapon) but it's good to see Jeditricks is still around as a moderator! Hope you are doing well JT!

Hey there, welcome to the new forums! I'm still moderating, that's pretty much as interesting as my life is.

Strange how they don't have the X-wing in stock, they have the Falcon as a Lego Direct exclusive now. I will keep an eye open for this set and nag Lego to at least make it a Shop-At-Home exclusive.

Last year, when they first started discontinuing SW Lego sets, the X-wing was excempt... I don't understand why that didn't continue into this year.

Talking about old LEGO set, I have missed out on Y-Wing with Vader's Tie. And now, there's nowhere to be found. But anyway, the main reason to get that set is because of the Vader minifig and I've since gotten the Jedi Duel set with Vader in it and paying much much lesser
Nevertheless, its still cool to have a Y-Wing in my Hangar.

Thanks for the information Jeditricks. I had no idea that the Falcon had been made an exclusive. I haven't picked that one up yet either, but at least it is still available through Shop at Home. That is some interesting info about the X-wing. I would think that if there was one set not to discontinue the X-wing would be it. Just have to keep looking I guess. Thanks for keeping a look out for me as well JeidTricks!

humsup, yeah if all you want is a Vader minifig, the death Star set is the way to go!

Try checking out the KB and Toyworks stores. They're the only retailers that I've seen thus far that still get the old SW Lego sets and at clearance prices.
